In today’s video, I’m going to be doing a deep dive into Fundamental Edge’s Asynch Academy. I know I mentioned Fundamental Edge before on this channel, but in case you don’t remember, Fundamental Edge is an education company that was founded with the mission to train the next generation of investors and a vision to create a platform that serves the learning & development needs of investment professionals throughout their careers.

The aim of Fundamental Edge is to provide a buy-side analyst training curriculum that prepares analysts to perform fundamental equity analysis at top asset managers like the ones you see on the screen now. They provide this education via structured lessons and proven frameworks, and they look to condense 3 years of “learning via osmosis” into a masterclass for the equity research process. The Asynch Academy is a more flexible version of their analyst academy, which is a virtual program that teaches the frameworks and tools of the buy side. The asynch academy provides this same stellar content but in hybrid pre-recorded lessons paired with live Q&A sessions. Fundamental Edge has packed so much information into their program, and in today’s video, I’m going to break it all down so you can decide if its right for you. so with that said, let’s get into it.

What Students Get Out of the Asynch Academy

Then there are modules on valuation & risk/reward probability trees, and short selling.
They also have a module dedicated to earnings season and the importance of how to navigate this period.

Then they discuss idea generation as well as thesis development & communication.
Then they close out the course with a module about idea maintenance and the catalyst path as well as a closing section that helps you review everything you learned.
Included in these modules are numerous case studies and real-world walk-throughs that help put these ideas into a market-oriented perspective.
And obviously, each of these aforementioned modules is packed with so much more than I just said. My comments only scratched the surface of the level and depth of the topics they cover.

Why Fundamental Edge?
So while there may be other programs that claim to “train you” for a career in finance generally, from my experience, nothing comes close to what Fundamental Edge offers.
